Each year, THE UNITED GROUP® hosts a National Conference at which the Member Stockholders (independent distributors) and Preferred Suppliers can carry out business and solidify their relationship. Events at each conference include the following:
- Over 4,000 table-top meetings during which a Member Stockholder (independent distributor) can purchase from a vendor (Preferred Supplier)
- Social events, such as an opening reception, awards banquet, theme party, golf tournament, and meals, at which the Member Stockholders meet and get to know the Preferred Suppliers
THE UNITED GROUP participates in market-segment trade shows that include the following:
- NRA Show held by the National Restaurant Association
- PACK EXPO® sponsored by PPMI (the Packaging Machinery Manufacturers Institute)
- ISSA/INTERCLEAN®, sponsored by the International Sanitary Supply Association and run concurrent with DistriPAKUSA™, sponsored by the nptaALLIANCE (the National Paper Trade Association)
